New Hampshire State Police have arrested a man accused of driving under the influence and crashing his truck into another vehicle.

Police were responding to the report of a crash Monday around 1:10 p.m. on Interstate 93 southbound in Concord. The responding trooper parked his cruiser to assist.

Police say the trooper observed a truck driven by Brenin Reale, 28, of Concord, driving toward his position at a high rate of speed.

They say Reale lost control of his truck trying to swerve to avoid slow traffic, and crashed into another vehicle.

No one was injured in the crash.

Police say Reale failed field sobriety tests and that a scale, drugs and a large sum of cash was seized from Reale.

He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.

He was released on $1,000 cash bail and is due back in court Feb 23.
