A Maine man accused of running his mother over with a car, then driving off has been taken into custody.
Police in Biddeford say Shane Jones, 26, was taken into custody Friday afternoon in the town of Sanford.
Kimberly Jones, 49, died after being struck Sunday night.
Shane Jones is charged with reckless conduct with a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
