Man Accused of Invading Home, Threatening Family

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, have arrested a man accused of invading a home and threatening the family with a handgun

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, have arrested a man accused of invading a home and threatening the family with a handgun.

Police responded to 58 Blucher St. for a report of a possible home invasion early Wednesday morning.

Upon arrival they located a suspect, the victim and several witnesses.

According to police the suspect, identified as Gabriel Tirido, 38, of Manchester, allegedly entered the home with an unknown accomplice at 12:40 a.m. and threatened the victim and his family.

The victim told police he wrestled the gun away from Tirido in a violent struggle and subdued him.

Tirido was transported to Catholic Medical Center for treatment of his injuries sustained during the struggle.

He was charged with burglary, reckless conduct and criminal threatening and will appear in the 9th District Court Wednesday morning.

Police are working to identify the second suspect.
