Police in St. Albans, Vermont, have arrested a man accused of selling drugs and being in possession of an improvised explosive device.

Logan Yandow, 25, was arrested following an investigation at 6:05 Thursday morning.

Police executed a search warrant at 21 Ferris St. and discovered the explosive device during the search, as well as marijuana. The building is immediately adjacent to the Bellows Free Academy.

The explosive device is small in size and explosive experts say there was no significant risk to neighbors or the school.

The apartment building was evacuated as a precautionary measure and the device was removed.

Yandow is expected to be arraigned Thursday morning.
