A Louisiana man has been arraigned for leaving the scene of a death in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Fifty-year-old Nicandro Velasquez also faces charges of driving without a license.
Fifty-four-year-old Cliserio Cordova Ferral, also of Louisiana, was found dead July 26 on the Winn Street ramp of I-95. Massachusetts State Police asked anyone with information to call them.
According to Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan, drivers who noticed a truck reported the details to police, who tracked it to Orono, Maine.
Authorities say that Velasquez knew that Ferral was hurt but kept driving.
