Man Arrested After Robbing Drug Store

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, have apprehended a man who robbed a Rite Aid on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the robbery occurred at 1:38 p.m. at the Rite Aid at 122 McGregor St. when a man fled with approximately nine bottles of Oxycontin. Police responded, and plain clothes detectives chased and apprehended a man believed to be involved in the area of 322 Putnam St.

The suspect, Randy Drouin, 20, of no known address, is charged with criminal threatening, robbery and simple assault. He was taken to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
