Police in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, arrested a man for a carjacking that occurred on Wednesday night.
According to the department, Jeffrey Shawn Link, age 47, of Fall River, Massachusetts, approached a 38-year-old New Bedford woman who was sitting in her vehicle in the Best Buy parking lot.
Link forced his way into the woman's vehicle, struck her in the head with a bottle, then drove away.
The victim was transported to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police located Link in New Bedford and arrested him.
He was charged with Armed Carjacking, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Threats to Commit a Crime, and Assault to Maim.
