An arrest was made following a fatal crash in Litchfield, Maine that killed two people.
Police arrested Shawn Metayer, 60, of Litchfield on warrants from a deadly Litchfield crash on November 9.
The crash killed 48-year-old Derek Trudeau and his wife, Stephanie Trudeau, 40, both residents of Litchfield. The couple were on their way to pick up their nine-year-old child from a friend’s house.
Metayer was released from the hospital and was inside of his home at the time of the arrest.
The warrants are for two counts of Class A Manslaughter and one OUI charge. Metayer is being held without bail and is expected to be in court Monday morning.
