A Connecticut man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of his 19-year-old daughter, who was found shot in a parking lot in Massachusetts in July.
Walter DaSilva, 45, of Danbury, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice in connection with the death of Sabrina DaSilva, according to the Connecticut Post.
Sabrina DaSilva was found lying in a parking lot on Bedford Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts, on July 3 and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Police said Walter DaSilva is a suspect in the shooting, but that he evaded officers.
He was held on $500,000 bond and is due back in court for an extradition hearing Monday.
