Police in Salem, New Hampshire, say they've arrested a man suspected of stealing a rack of lottery tickets from a gas station, then cashing in a number of winning tickets at other stores.
Police said they arrested 29-year-old Andrew Sevigny of Dracut, Massachusetts, on Tuesday. He turned himself in to police after two warrants charging him with willful concealment/theft and receiving stolen property were issued.
Police said the tickets were taken Monday, Jan. 5, from Klemm's Mobil. Police said the same man cashed in winning tickets at stores throughout the area. Police retrieved hats worn during the theft and several unscratched tickets.
Sevigny has been released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. He's scheduled to appear in court on March 16. It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer.
