Investigation is underway in Laconia, New Hampshire, after a man reported that he was attacked by a person with a bat and robbed Friday.
Police responded to the scene in the area of Winter Street for the report of the attack.
The victim, whose head was bleeding, told police he was hit with a bat by an unknown person, who stole an undisclosed amount of money.
A search was done in the area, but police did not find the suspect.
The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to Lakes Region General Hospital for a minor head laceration.
