Man Charged With DWI After Crashing Car Into Swamp

Police have arrested a man accused of DWI after his vehicle crossed the center of a roadway and landed in a swamp

Police in Hudson, New Hampshire, have arrested a man accused of DWI after his vehicle crossed the center of a roadway and landed in a swamp Tuesday.

Police responded to the area of 73 Greeley St. at 11 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle accident.

The vehicle was being operated by Peter Crafts, 23, of Husdon.

Police say his vehicle was traveling south on Greeley Street when Crafts lost control, crossed the center and landed in the swamp.

Crafts was arrested at the scene and charged with DWI and possession of a narcotic drug.

Bail was set at $5,000 and he is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
