Police have arrested a Hartford man and charged him with murder in the death of his girlfriend's 2-year-old child last year.
Hartford police say 31-year-old Luke Theriault was arrested Wednesday following more than a year-long investigation into the child's death on July 4, 2013. He is charged with first degree murder and aggravated domestic assault.
Theriault is being held without bail. He is to appear in Windsor County Superior Court on Thursday. It wasn't immediately known if he has a lawyer.
