State police arrested a Killingly man on Thursday, accused of sexually assaulting a minor.
Detectives began an investigation into Joshua Chaffee, 40, in July after receiving a report of a sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.
After a long investigation, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Chaffee and took him into custody at the State-Line Campgrounds in Killingly on Thursday.
Chaffee is charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
He is being held on $10,000 bond.
