A Massachusetts man is charged with shooting his pregnant girlfriend in the back, according to The Enterprise.
The woman, taken by ambulance to Boston Medical Center, called 911 Friday morning.
The incident happened at 68 W. Chestnut St. in Brockton.
The extent of the woman's injuries is not known at this time, but both the mother and baby are expected to survive.
A 24-year-old man faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
