A Massachusetts man will be in court Thursday on charges that he tried to detonate a homemade bomb at “Haverhill Stadium.”
Matthew Madden is accused of leaving the bomb in the bathhouse at the stadium last week.
Police say that when the suspect tried to light the bomb the bathhouse ended up catching fire.
He has a history with Haverhill Police, including stealing guns from his father and selling them. During that arrest, Madden told police a chilling detail that drew suspicion to this bomb case.
