Police say a man died in a shooting Wednesday night in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the suspect is at large.
According to MIT Police, the shooting occurred a short distance from their campus- in the 700 block of Main Street shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thirty-one-year-old Rasaun Nichols was struck by gunshots from a vehicle that was departing Newtowne Court.
The vehicle containing the victim then drove towards Kendall Square and left Nichols in front of the Marriott Hotel.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
