Maine State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who ran off from troopers Wednesday night in Chelsea, still in handcuffs.

34-year-old Jason Langdon was last seen near Overlook Dr. in West Gardner at about 11:30 p.m.

Earlier, troopers had stopped the car Langdon was driving along Route 9 in Chelsea. He gave authorities a false name, was arrested and placed in a police cruiser. He then bolted from the car, and ran off into the woods.

Langdon is a transient with no permanent address. He is 5'5", weighs 135 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes. He is also wanted on charges from Colorado and Florida.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
