An investigation is underway after a landlord found rats, feces and filth inside an apartment in Boston’s Back Bay last month.
Rats were nesting in different areas of the Beacon Street house, including the mattress.
There was also a large amount of rat feces.
The man who lived there, Rod Chorbachi, also had bite marks on his skin. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
His mother told officials he suffers from anxiety, has panic attacks and is afraid to leave the apartment.
