Maine State Police have arrested an Aroostook County man on child pornography charges.
Authorities said Monday that 40-year-old Robert Kinney Jr. was arrested at his home in the town of Blaine late last week.
He's charged with possession of sexually explicit material of someone under the age of 12.
Acting on a tip, police searched Kinney's electronic devices and say they found photos of infants being sexually molested. None of the images is believed to have been taken in Maine.
He's being held in Aroostook County jail and it's not clear if he has a lawyer.
The case remains under investigation.
