Authorities say a man has been found dead in the rear bedroom after a fire in a Springfield, Massachusetts, mobile home.
Firefighters responded to the home at about 5 a.m. Thursday.
Department spokesman Dennis Leger says the man was in his 50s but his name was not immediately made public. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
The fire caused extensive damage to the mobile home but the cause remains under investigation.
The victim is believed to be the home's sole occupant.
