Authorities say a Burlington, Vermont man who admitted to robbing three pharmacies is headed to prison.
Thirty-one-year-old Brian McMahon was sentenced Monday to more than two years in prison. He pleaded guilty in November to an interference with commerce by robbery charge.
Federal prosecutors say McMahon admitted to robbing the pharmacies in Burlington between December 2014 and April 2015. They say he stole bottles of methadone and OxyContin. He was arrested after his third robbery in April.
