Cat Charity Donation Jar Theft Suspect Identified

Police seek public's help in locating Justin McGrail

Police in Pelham, New Hampshire, have identified the suspect wanted in connection to the theft of The Feline Friends donation jar.

Justin McGrail, the male suspect sought by police, of Methuen, Massachusetts, was caught on video surveillance stealing the jar from the Gage Hill Farms convenience store back on August 2. They describe the 32-year-old as a light-skinned Hispanic.

Feline Friends is a no-kill, non-profit organization that strives to make a positive difference in the lives of felines. They work to find foster homes for cats without a home. All money raised is donated directly to the cost of supplies and healthcare for the cats.

McGrail is known to frequently hangout in the Salem, New Hampshire, area. Police are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward. Gage Hill Farms is offering a $200 reward as part of an effort to locate the suspect.

David Bergeron, Gage Hill Farm's store manager, says people had been regularly traveling to the store to make donations. Since the jar was stolen, he says they have raised over $500.
