Man Indicted by Grand Jury in Stabbing Death of Woman

Halifax Police responded to 46A Wamsutta Avenue to inquire about a missing 16-year-old girl from Duxbury

A Plymouth County Grand Jury has returned a murder indictment against a Halifax, Massachusetts, man accused of fatally stabbing a woman he met on a social media website.

Halifax Police responded to 46A Wamsutta Avenue on Nov. 17 to inquire about a missing 16-year-old girl from Duxbury.

Police found the girl at the home with Soi Ket Dang, 32.

At the police station, the girl told police Dang stabbed another girl the night before and hid the body in a closet. Police returned to the home and found the body of Marissa Randall and the possible murder weapon, a hunting knife.

The Plymouth DA’s Office said Dang met with Randall through the website, “Meetme”.

Investigators arrested Dang, who is being held without bail and will be arraigned at a later date.

It was not immediately known if Dang had a lawyer.
