A man is dead after his ATV overturned Saturday evening, according to Vermont State Police.
Around 8:30 pm officials received a 911 call from a motorist in Weybridge reporting an ATV on its side. The motorist found James Davignon III pinned underneath the ATV and unresponsive.
EMS and State Police tried to resuscitate Davignon before he was taken to Porter Hospital in Middlebury where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary invesigation suggests Davignon was alone when he was driving the ATV near his home. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor.
The investigation is ongoing.
