A 57-year-old Tinmouth, Vermont, man was killed Friday night when he was struck by a car on Gulf Road in Tinmouth.
Leo Branchaud was struck at 8:23 p.m. while walking in the road near his home and died as a result of his injuries, according to Vermont State Police.
The driver, Lisa Velde, 57, also of Tinmouth, Vermont, was traveling north, near the intersection of McNamara Road, when the accident occurred.
Police are investigating.
