Christopher R. Fletcher, 53, is already serving a life sentence without parole

A man, who is already serving a life sentence without parole in a 1995 murder, pleaded guilty Tuesday to murdering another woman in 1986.

Christopher R. Fletcher, 53, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Peggy Sue Calvillo, 24, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on Dec. 6, 1986.

A judge imposed the mandatory sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 years.

Fletcher is already serving a life sentence without parole for the killing of Elizabeth Salsbury of Lunenburg in 1995.

Fletcher also faces a trial in March for the killing of a fellow inmate at MCI-Norfolk.
