Man Sentenced for Sexually Assaulting Minors

A Brattleboro, Vermont, man who was convicted of sexually assaulting underage girls has been sentenced to 10 years to life in prison.

Kai Freeman was found guilty last year of one count of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault on a minor and other charges.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports
that the 26-year-old Freeman was sentenced last week.

Freeman was arrested by Brattleboro police in October 2013.

Authorities say the case involved testimony from three victims. One said she engaged in sexual activity with Freeman in exchange for marijuana.

Two victims were under the age of 16 during the assaults.
