Police in Bourne, Massachusetts, are investigating the death of a pedestrian struck and killed by a pickup truck while crossing a highway on-ramp.
Police say the victim was struck at about 5 p.m. Thursday while trying to cross the Route 25 on-ramp from Route 28.
Officers performed CPR on the male victim until he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck remained on the scene.
No names were released and no charges have been piled pending the outcome of the investigation.
