Man Walks Away From New Hampshire Transitional Housing Unit

The New Hampshire State Corrections Department says a man on work release is missing after walking away from a transitional housing unit.

Peter Anthony Damon, 35, was allowed to leave for work on Friday but didn't return at his scheduled time of 7 p.m.

Damon is a white man who is 6 foot 3 inches tall and 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was eligible for parole in November and was originally sentenced for violating a protective order.

His maximum release date is May 24, 2018.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency or state police.

A walkway from a correctional facility is considered an escape, which is a felony punishable by up to 7 years in prison.
