Man Wins $15M in Massachusetts State Lottery's “World Class Million”

28-year-old Michael Milford of Melrose is the second grand prize winner in the "World Class Millions" instant ticket

A 28-year-old Massachusetts sales manager claimed the second of four $15 million grand prizes off of a state lottery's "World Class Millions" instant ticket on Tuesday.

Massachusetts State Lottery says Michael Milford of Melrose opted for the cash option for his prize, a one-time payment of $9,750,000 after taxes.

Milford says he's using his winnings to first pay for his upcoming wedding in the Dominican Republic this December, according to the state lottery. He'll also pay off bills, help family and invest for the future, the lottery said.

The "World Class Millions" grand prize, of which there are two remaining, is the largest scratch-and-win prize offered by the state lottery.
