Vermont State Police have cited a Vermont man who they say was seen driving more than 100 mph on Interstate 89.
Police said in a statement that the 31-year-old St. Albans man was clocked travelling 105 mph in Georgia Tuesday morning. He was arrested and faces a charge of excessive speed. He is expected in court next month.
The citation comes after three drivers were stopped on suspicion of driving faster than 100 mph last month - two of whom were clocked at speeds of more than 125 mph.
