Man in Custody May Be Tied to 2 Shootings in Dorchester

Police in Boston are investigating whether two shooting incidents in Dorchester are connected.

Lance Holloman, a person of interest in the shooting death of a woman on Santuit Street, is also being investigated in connection to the shootings of a father and son on motorcycles on I-93.

Neighbors say Holloman did not live at the Santuit Street building where the woman was found dead Sunday night, but a girlfriend did and he would often visit.

Monday morning, Holloman was arrested about 40 miles away in Frankin. Police found him screaming for help after a crash on Route 140. He told responding officers he had been kidnapped and tied up. Authorities could not find any evidence of that and said he was agitated and not cooperating.

When police ran Holloman's name, they learned Boston police and Massachusetts State Police were looking for him in connection to the two Dorchester shootings.

Holloman was arraigned Monday in a separate case.

The identity of the victim killed on Santuit Street has not been revealed. The elder I-93 victim, a 54-year-old Raynham man, was taken to Tufts Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The younger one, a 32-year-old Taunton man, was taken to Boston Medical Center and remains in critical condition.
