Man in Striped Suit & Yankees Cap Robs Glastonbury Gas Station at Knifepoint

A man in a blue striped suit and a New York Yankees baseball cap robbed a Glastonbury gas station and pressed a knife into the side of the only clerk on duty, according to police.

The robbery happened at 4:16 a.m. on Sunday at Global Gas Station, at 2997 Main Street, and the robber forced the clerk to remove several hundred dollars in cash from a register, then fled, police said.

In addition to the knife, the robber had a firearm in his waistband.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

Police are looking for a man between 25 and 35 years old, who was last seen heading east toward Main Street.
