A Massachusetts woman was critically injured Sunday morning in a motorcycle crash in Hudson, New Hampshire.
Fifty-two-year-old Linda Knight of Peabody crashed the bike, which went to the ground, on Bush Hill Road. Police responded just before 11 a.m. to find her off the side of the road, away from the motorcycle.
Police believe she hit a rock when she was thrown.
Knight was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with what police called possible life-threatening injuries. She was then taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where she is in stable but critical condition.
Police say that Knight was wearing a helmet and that alcohol is not believed to have been a factor. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
