Mass. Police Search for Car Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash Involving Bicyclist

Bicyclist was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries

Police are searching for the car involved in a hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist Monday night in East Bridgewater.

The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m.on Washington Street.

Police said a 17-year-old East Bridgewater resident was riding a bicycle against traffic when they were were clipped by the side view mirror of a car traveling northbound. The driver allegedly fled north on Washington Street towards Whitman.

The bicyclist was taken to Brockton Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Witnesses told police the suspect's car was a black, two-door convertible.
