Missing Hunter Had Car Trouble, Stayed at Camp

He was reported missing on Monday

New Hampshire's Fish and Game Department says a hunter reported missing when he didn't return home from a North Country trip had had vehicle problems and spent the night in a vacant camp.

Roger Provost of Laconia was reported missing by his sister when he didn't come back from his trip to Pittsburg on Monday.

The 48-year-old Provost was found early Tuesday by a Border Patrol agent assisting in the search for him. Provost said his vehicle got stuck on Monday afternoon and he didn't come into contact with anyone. He came upon the vacant camp, which he broke into and spent the night.
