Missing N.H. Woman's Body Found at End of Pond

Police say the body of 39-year-old Ann Wade was located Wednesday at the south end of Depot Pond

The two-day search for a missing southeastern New Hampshire woman has ended after her body was found at the end of a pond in Milton.

Police say the body of 39-year-old Ann Wade was located Wednesday at the south end of Depot Pond. She was last seen Monday around 5:40 p.m. in the parking lot of a dollar store on White Mountain Highway.

Wade's family told police after she went missing that they were worried she might harm herself.

Officials say Wade had just moved to the area recently and didn't know many people.

Cpl. Andrew Magargee says no foul play is suspected in Wade's death.

Milton police will continue to investigate the incident with assistance from the New Hampshire State Medical Examiner's Office.
