Mother Arraigned on Additional Child Rape Charge

39-year-old Heather Salines is from Saugus, Mass.

A Massachusetts mother, who allegedly raped a teenager, was arraigned Tuesday on an additional charge of child rape.

Heather Salines appeared in Salem Superior Court where she was arraigned on several charges, including that of raping a teenager in February 2014.

The 39-year-old mother from Saugus was originally released on $7,500 cash bail in April 2014.

Essex Assistant District Attorney Kate MacDougall did not request additional bail.

It is alleged she raped both teenagers and sent them explicit photographs of herself.

One of the victims was 15-years-old at the time at the time he was allegedly raped. The victim who most recently disclosed the incident was 14-years-old, about to turn 15, at the time he was allegedly raped. 

A final pre-trial hearing is scheduled for July 28. The cases will be tried together beginning on August 17.
