Bristol police are investigating after a motorcyclist crashed through a fence and into a river.
Police said the female victim, 51-year-old Marie Hoadley, of Bristol, was riding down School Street around 11:27 a.m. Monday. As she made a right turn near West Street, she lost control of the bike and struck a curb, then continued into a fence and landed in the river, police said.
Police said she fell between 8 to 10 feet.
The woman was conscious and alert after the accident, and was transported to Bristol Hospital for treatment. She was not seriously injured, police said.
The Bristol Police Traffic Division is investigating.
