A Maine motorist was killed Sunday night after losing control of her vehicle while driving during a severe snowstorm.
Danielle Moores, of Lubec, lost control of her pickup truck and veered off the road around 6:30 p.m. on Route 189 in Trescott.
Moores' truck came to a rest on its roof in a bog. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The storm dumped over a foot of wet snow on parts of Maine. Wind gusts topped 50 mph.
