Vermont State Police say a multi-vehicle accident occurred on Friday after a plastic drum fell off a truck.
Police responded to the crash on Route 7 in Ferrisburgh around 4 p.m..
Police say a vehicle carrying empty 55 gallon plastic drums lost one in the roadway.
A good samaritan tried to remove the drum, which caused a sudden back-up and a car to crash into two other vehicles.
None of the operators were seriously injured.
