NECN Meteorologist Matt Noyes hit up the Berkshires Monday morning for more on the iconic locations you can visit, some cool history and more on a great way to spend a day.
He was joined by Shawn Hartley Hancock, director of marketing and communications at Hancock Shaker Village.
Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is 750 acres of pure history.
It’s a preserved shaker village. Shakers lived in the region from the late 1700s, when they came to America from England.
At the height of the community, there were about 300-400 Shakers.
