NECN anchor Mike Nikita's received a big honor Thursday night, becoming an inductee of the 22nd-annual Silver Circle.
Nikitas is one of six recipients of this year's award.
Established by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Silver Circle recognizes media professionals who have dedicated at least 25 years to the industry and made significant contribution to the community through their work.
Nikitas received the honor at a ceremony tonight at Boston's Seaport Hotel.
The Silver Circle Awards have been honoring media professionals since 1993.
