Robbery Victim Stabs 2 Robbers in Manchester, N.H.

Two robbers are injured after they were stabbed by a man that they robbed early Saturday morning in Manchester, New Hampshire.

According to the Manchester Police Department, victim Mark Hathaway, 44, flagged down officers informing them he had been robbed by two men, later identified as James Dickson, 36, and Jonathan Vertigans, 32.

Hathaway reports while the two robbers fought him for his money in the Victory Parking Garage at 25 Vine Street, one of the men took out a knife.  Hathaway was able to grab the knife and use it against both Dickson and Vertigans before Hathaway was rendered unconscious.

Vertigans wound left a trail of blood extending for over a block.  He was taken to a local hospital where he's in stable condition.

Dickson was taken to CMC Hospital where he was treated and released into police custody.

Hathaway was taken to Eliot Hospital where he was treated and released.

Both Vertigans and Dickson are charged with robbery and falsifying physical evidence.  Bail has not yet been set.
