A man was shot by a New Hampshire State Trooper during an on-duty incident Friday night, according to authorities.
The trooper spotted a Vermont stolen car around 7:00 p.m. on I-89 and confronted the driver after he stopped in Hopkinton, NH.
During the confrontation, which involved several other officers, the stolen vehicle's driver was shot.
The driver was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to recover.
This incident is currently under investigation.
