N.H. Police Arrest Kidnapping Suspect

Massachusetts State Police arrested a man wanted for kidnapping in Concord, Massachusetts.

Alexis “Alex” Martinez, 18, of Londonderry, New Hampshire was arrested for kidnapping, use of motor vehicle without authority and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. The case allegedly originated in Londonderry.

On April 14th, Massachusetts State Police received an emergency call that a juvenile female was being held against her will by her ex-boyfriend, Martinez. A state trooper located the vehicle on I-495 and stopped it in Littleton, Massachusetts.

Troopers took Martinez into custody and rescued the female. She suffered minor injuries to her hands and forearms in self-defense. She was later reunited with her mother and sought medical treatment.

The victim says she came across Martinez in Londonderry and he began to follow her on Route 102. She pulled over to the side of the road to let him pass, when he allegedly stopped and approached her vehicle, which was locked.

Martinez gained entry inside the victim’s vehicle where her pushed her to the passenger seat.

The victim was able to send text messages which assisted police in locating her in Massachusetts.

Londonderry Police sought warrant charging Martinez for kidnapping and assault.

Martinez was arrested on April 18th and released on a personal recognizance bail with an arraignment date in Rockingham County Superior Court in Brentwood, New Hampshire.
