The city of Nashua, New Hampshire, is going to get a $125,000 health grant to improve residents' access to physical activity and nutritious foods.

The grant was awarded from the national American Planning Association to a chapter in Northern New England as part of a program called "Plan4Health."

The funding will allow the group to work in collaboration with the city, the Nashua Regional Planning Commission, the New Hampshire Public Health Association and Healthy Eating Active Living to advance community-based strategies for access to physical activity for people who live, learn, work or play in the greater Nashua area.
