NH's ‘Fat Cat' Takes the Internet by Storm

Thirty-one pound Logan is quite the attraction for the Best Western Silver Fox Inn

A 31-pound cat owned by the proprietors of a New Hampshire ski country hotel is making waves on the internet.

A video of Logan walking around in the parking lot of the Best Western Silver Fox Inn in Waterville Valley has been viewed more than 25 million times, according to the Union Leader.

The owners of the hotel - Tor and Susan Brunvand - told the Union Leader that Logan is a hit with customers, some of whom ask for him by name.

All that attention does have its down side, however. Several people have posted on the hotel's Facebook page, criticizing the Brunvands for allowing the cat to grow so large.

The Brunvands say Logan is well cared for and has been put on various diets, but so far doctors have not been able to pinpoint why he gains so much weight.

"It is who he is," they wrote on Facebook, "there are two other cats, Lili and Lucy and all 3 of them eat the same amount of food, he just has a crappy metabolism, but he is a very happy camper and everyone loves him and cares for him."
