NJ Man Arrested for Driving 142 MPH on New Hampshire Highway

The man who state police said was driving 142 miles per hour on I 95 in New Hampshire was arrested on a charge of reckless driving, according to state police.

Eric Joseph, 51, of Short Hills, New Jersey was arrested on Saturday at 8:05 a.m. in Greenland. He was driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee 142 mph in a 65 mph zone, according to police. His speed was clocked by a state police aircraft.

Jospeph allegedly told police that he was speeding because he was traveling home to New Jersey. He is set to appear in Portsmouth Circuit Court on September 23.
